I help individuals and organizations bridge differences and opportunities, create belonging and inclusive cultures where diversity can thrive, and advocate for the muted and silenced in advancement of equity and justice. My commitment is to bring grace and truth to the work we do together, focus on your needs and goals in solution finding, and empower you to create the communities, culture, or organizations where people are at their best.
If you have people, you have culture and you have diversity. Unless you are strategic and intentional with development, management, change and culture, then you are not maximizing your people or their abilities. High performing teams result from the talents of the people, leadership, people engagement and leaders inclusively managing differences. This is where a professional people belonging and inclusion strategist like me comes in.
Diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB) programs and initiatives often fail because they are overly broad, do not have leadership buy-in and engagement, are not designed to tackle the organization’s pain points, or do not factor in the organization’s culture and climate, among other dynamics. My professional experience includes developing and executing programs to support mentorship and sponsorship, enhance diversity recruiting, professional and leadership development programs, career success strategies for historically marginalized and underrepresented professionals, allyship and bias interruption programs, and strategic planning.
